Note: The Tyro Health Online/HealthPoint integration is only available for Australian customers.
The iconpractice Tyro integration allows you to process EFTPOS, health insurance, Medicare/DVA, Comcare, iCare, Workcover OLD and Worksafe VIC transactions from within the iconpractice interface. Tyro Health Online transactions may be processed entirely from the web interface or via a Tyro terminal.
Connecting to Tyro Health Online
To connect to Tyro Health Online, generate an API Key from within the Tyro Health Online portal. For information on generating an API key view the Tyro website here. Once you have your key, in iconpractice head to Settings > Integrations > Tyro Online & Terminal. Enter the API Key in the field provided.
Some Tyro Health Online cannot be completed immediately. If a transaction fails for some reason, you will be notified via the Notifications in the Dairy screen. To be notified of successful transactions as well, tick the “Show Tyro Online approval notices” checkbox.
Lastly, if you have a Tyro terminal that you wish to use, toggle the “Use terminal” option to activate. Before processing any transactions through iconpractice using the terminal, be sure you have connected your terminal to the Tyro Health Online portal. Details on how to do that can be found here.
